If you want the challenge of a cycle ride down to the coast through open, near-empty roads and beautiful countryside – why not sign up for Capital to Coast yourself?

Not only can you make it your reason to get or stay fit, but you can also help raise much-needed funds for Norwood and their Partner Charities; Sparks, Down’s Syndrome Association and Southern FM’s Help a Local Child

Jeff Serlin ( reserve in week 4 Alex Pomerance)

JeffJeff Serlin Serlin runs a contract furnishing company supplying furniture for hotels and restaurants. He has been involved with Norwood Challenges for several years. Originally acting as a motorcycle marshal for various rides including the Big H (now Capital to Coast) and the Two Towers Challenge riding from London to Paris. Jeff then took the position of Chairman of the Junior Bike Ride committee, running the event for 7 years. Being friendly with so many Norwood riders meant that he was subjected to a lot of scorn, and lots of “get off your motorbike and get pedalling” comments. In 2005 Jeff finally “bit the bullet” and became a proper rider, taking part that year for the first time in both Capital to Coast and the International Brazil bike rides. Jeff has recently completed Norwood’s Vietnam to Cambodia ride. Apart from riding, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is married with 2 daughters aged 6 and 16 and lists amongst his other interests playing golf very badly and flying light aircraft (not so badly) Jeff is 47 years old.
